Amazon Web Services is launching a platform called “NBA Inside the Game” that tracks players’ real-time movements (29 body parts) to generate advanced metrics like shot difficulty, “gravity,” defensive impact, etc. This will be integrated into live broadcasts, the NBA app, and the league website.

The 2025 NBA Cup (Emirates NBA Cup) is back — a midseason tournament that counts toward regular season standings. Semifinals and the championship will be held in Las Vegas.
